Hi I'm Stephen Chipp, Chairman of Adur District Council.
My chosen charity is Esteem in Shoreham, who offer services such as mentoring to 16 to 24 year olds.

The 70-acre piece of land - the green gap between Shoreham and Lancing - was purchased by Adur Council in 2020 to protect it from housing development:

Great to be at the launch of the new book from Southwick Society Chairman Mary Candy about the plane crash 64 years ago that miraculously avoided the local school. Fascinating to hear the memories of residents there today who remember it as if it were yesterday
