In our final week of the ACPA trial, growth measurements and yield data were taken. Now it’s time to investigate if there was a difference between the six Canola varieties and three nitrogen timing treatment applications! @ChaiyyaCooper@Erin__Schilling@Bec_Swift_@SJB_Ag
Checking in on our plot trial today. The odds are becoming more stacked against us in this sandy soil type - pests are liking the taste of our HYOLA F1 (photo 3), and the Wahoo variety (photo 4) has more of a cabbage form, but we are yet to see any flowering! #ag#curtinuni
This week we’ve noticed lots of bees hanging around! As well as something enjoying the taste of our canola and eating all the stems. It can’t be birds due to the netting enclosure, but we’re thinking rats. What do you guys think? @ChaiyyaCooper@swalters2001@SJB_Ag@Bec_Swift_
