@found_it_funny That reminds me of the exact opposite experience I had. When I was in elementary school in China, I was playing with my Game Boy Advance one weekend when some older kids asked to see it. I handed it to them, and they immediately ran off with it—I couldn't catch them.
@clovercomedy_ From the website description, it says using Type C for power. Right now, I have my display case LED lights connected to a smart plug. I'm thinking I can do the same with this figure.
The biggest news from China’s car industry today. 3 brake pedals during emergency brake tests on 3 brand-new, luxury class Maextro V800s. (ENGLISH SUBTITLES)
Maextro is Huawei’s luxury brand with JAC, and the V800 sells for 0.77 to 1 million RMB.
Massive credit to Dongchedi, the company that tested the cars. They are, I believe, China’s most renowned and respected third-party testing platform, and this video shows why.
3 new cars, pedal force sensors on the third attempt, cameras everywhere, a closed track, a drone and a safety crew. This is among the highest levels of independent car testing I have seen anywhere.
The force when the third pedal broke was 1612 N. I am not sure on this one, but from the limited posts I read, it seems China’s industry standard requires a brake pedal to hold 2000 N for 5 seconds.
This had a huge impact on the company. Today JAC’s stock fell by 10%.
P.S: I just translated the video and added english subtitles. Video Credits: Dongchedi, Sources in the thread 👇
@SteinsGateBraun I just bought a Japanese Xbox 360 so I can finally play my Japanese copy of Steins;Gate that I picked up on my first Japan trip 9 years back. I even got a Sony TV from 2010 to go with it. I'm pretty excited to experience Steins;Gate again (for the 5th time) with this retro setup!
