Another thing I’m sure they considered, but it’s an awful outcome.

Let’s say you join an online league, spend $100 on your coach build, and then get kicked. You’re out $100 and completely at the mercy of league commissioners (who can be hotheads).

You spend $100, then the league decides to restart after 3 seasons. That money is gone.

You start an offline league, spend $100 and then decide a season in you want to restart with a different team.

RTG doesn’t even make sense considering how short the mode can be.

It also discourages people from joining and trying multiple leagues because they’ll feel like they need to pay every time just to keep up. Some leagues will disable Coach XP purchases and require custom coaches, not realizing you’ll never come close to a strong coach build. Other leagues will just go with current coaches, which takes away from the immersion of CFB 27 Dynasty. It takes away the ability to do what you want and starts to feel like you need to make business decisions to play dynasty.

The more you think about it, the worse it gets.

You guys know where I stand on this….

Not only did they add micro transactions, but they also sneakily removed the settings to gain Coach XP. This has effectively ruined custom coach builds, which is one of the biggest components of Dynasty Mode. You’re now forced to either pay up or have a bad coach.

CFB 27 Dynasty has massive potential and was one of the most hyped launches I’ve seen in a while. The gameplay, new features, and all the quality of life changes are great. It’s a shame that the micro transactions and sneaky setting changes are ruining the sentiment around an otherwise great game.

Give us back the Faster and Fastest Coach XP settings.
