The answer to #whatisitwednesday's artifact is the end piece of a sword blade. It was found in the Pembroke area and is believed to be from the 17th century. But as a curator I still have more questions...who did it belong to and was it really from that time?? #mysteryartifact

Log trolley from the Muskrat River Dam is now at the Museum! Many thanks to The City of Pembroke for donating the stop log trolley and Clouthier Construction for delivering this artifact. The stop log trolley was used to lift logs out of the Muskrat Dam. #historypreserved
