Argyle’s incredible playoff run comes to an end Saturday night in Frisco.

The Eagles fell 7-1 in Game 3 of the Class 5A Division II State Semifinals to Lovejoy.

It was an unforgettable season and congrats to the players and coaches!!

Argyle is headed to the CLASS 5A DIVISION II STATE SEMIFINALS! The Eagles produced a dramatic 6-3 comeback victory in Game 3 vs. Abilene Wylie to win the REGION I TITLE!

The Eagles overcome a 3-2 deficit with 4 RUNS in the bottom of the 6th‼️

An absolutely dominant performance by Eagle pitcher Jake Snakernberg as the strikes out the last six hitters, logs 14 Ks and spins a 2-hit gem to put Argyle up 1-0 in the series. Jacob Garcia was dang near as good and the only run he gave up was unearned.

Game 2 set for 5:30 p.m. Friday back here at the Holiday Athletic Complex and the Pirates need to bounce back.
