बिहार के बक्सर में एक भाई-बहन की कहानी समाज और सरकार को झकझोर देने वाली है. जहां 16 बीघा जमीन के मालिक होने के बावजूद दोनों को मुफलिसी में जिंदगी गुजारनी पड़ रही है.

गांव के दबंगों ने उनकी जमीन पर कब्जा कर लिया है. जिस वजह से दोनों 4 फीट के आधे-अधूर��� कमरे में जीवन गुजर-बसर करने को मजबूर हैं. न आधार कार्ड, न राशन बना है और न ही वृद्धा पेंशन का लाभ मिल पा रहा है. अधिकारी 'बेशर्मी' से कहते हैं, ' सरकार हाथ पकड़कर योजनाओं का लाभ नहीं देगी.'

ये कहानी काल्पनिक नहीं, बल्कि बक्सर जिले के ओझा बरांव गांव में रहने वाले 60 वर्षीय ललन ओझा और उनकी 70 वर्षीय बड़ी बहन दैतरा देवी की हकीकत है.

कभी जमींदार परिवार से ताल्लुक रखने वाले इस भाई-बहन के पास करीब 16 बीघा जमीन थी लेकिन आज हालात ऐसे हैं कि सिर छिपाने के लिए ढंग का कमरा भी नहीं. सरकारी योजनाओं का सहारा नहीं और भविष्य के नाम पर सिर्फ अनिश्चितता है.
