I am appalled and shocked seeing the images of the the murder of Hindu activist Suhas Shetty in Mangalore. Extremist elements have resurfaced in Coastal Karnataka.

Following the assassination of Praveen Nettaru, they have now set their sights on another Hindu activist. Karnataka has become a haven for anti-social individuals, hired assassins, and extremists to showcase their brutality.

Hindu activists, as well as the Hindu community at large, are left vulnerable due to the ineffective and indifferent Congress Government in the State. The murders are a result of the appeasement Politics and soft stance on anti social elements in the State.

I urge the Honorable Home Minister to direct the Police to take decisive action against the perpetrators of Suhas Shetty's murder. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Suhas.
