@CoreyB08 I understand it completely. He saw they were no where close to contention. PG had a good post season. Brad sees he has more to offer but would gladly trade him for the right pieces and the reason for the trade primarily are the two first round picks
@CoreyB08 It makes a lot of sense if PG had only one year on his contract whereas he has 2 and JB had 3. And they make almost the same money so we aren’t talking about a lot of savings there
@CoreyB08 We are in agreement that they weren’t winning but the return for JB is underwhelming that is my concern with this trade, which just makes me wonder if Brad just wanted him gone
@CoreyB08 I would have kept Jaylen Brown. The picks might or might not pan out but this is punting a year of JT’s prime or maybe even two. Not sure what happened that the relationship got so sour that they just wanted JB gone
@NoaDalzell JT is a year removed from an Achilles surgery. Paul George is 36 years old. D White had a stinker of a season. Mitchell Robinson is a net 0 on offense and the other guy is Hauser. This starting 5 has no reason to have any championship odds. Happy to be proven wrong but we stink
