This entire slugfest on who is holding more of benami land is getting back into the open side. I would say at the first instance, both the land acquisitions benami or non-benami has to be investigated. Hyderabad, Telangana: Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao says, "Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi spoke very well in Indore. The Mandal Commission had recommended 27% reservation for OBCs. Hyderabad, Telangana: On Ram Mandir, Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy says, "Basically, what I am saying is that somewhere, a person at a lower level who was involved in the counting may have done something wrong or committed some mischief. Hyderabad, Telangana: BJP leader Madhavi Latha has been banned from entering the Bagalkot district of Karnataka

She says, "Their issue is that, on one hand, they are raising the excuse of hate speech, and on the other hand, they are raising the issue in the name of a gesture. Look at all the speeches I have given to date. We have never given any hate speech against any religion or caste. Is this my explanation? No, it isn't. Then what is it? Hyderabad, Telangana: BJP leader Madhavi Latha has been banned from entering the Bagalkot district of Karnataka

She says, "It is not just one person, brother; many will do this. Every voter in Karnataka will do this work. Then they will see how many Madhavi Lathas stand before them. You have stopped just one. This is a regular habit even in our Telangana, placing under house arrest again and again. Is this all they have? Hyderabad, Telangana: BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao says, "40 lakh tonnes of coal stolen in Telangana. When we wrote a letter to Kishan Reddy ji saying, 'Brother, you are the Coal Minister, and you also have a stake in Singareni—you have a 49% share, and the state government has 51%—so please conduct an investigation into this,' we received no response from him to this day. I hope that now—at least now, when such a major power crisis has arisen just because there is no coal in the state of Telangana—the Union Government will launch an inquiry. Otherwise, people will start to feel that 'the thief and the dark are hand in glove,' and both are working together to do all this."

Hyderabad, Telangana: BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao says, "This is purely because of mismanagement. The Kaleshwaram Project that we built during the BRS government—its pumps are completely safe and sound today. The water there today is flowing above 96 meters. In the Godavari River, if water reaches up to 93 meters, you can lift the water. Simply to defame KCR Ji, they have kept the pumps turned off. If they switch on the pumps there, you can fill water in all the reservoirs we built around Hyderabad—whether it is Kondapochamma Sagar or Mallanna Sagar—in all those projects. Using that, there should never be a water crisis in Hyderabad, not just today, but anytime in the future. But purely because of vengeance, mismanagement, and political vendetta, this state of affairs has been created."

Hyderabad, Telangana: BRS Spokesperson Dinesh Chowdhary says, "Our leaders are going to visit all the DISCOMs and check the log books, find out how many hours of power is being given to farmers by Telangana Congress government. Because earlier, we used to give 24/7 free power to the agriculture sector where farmers reaped the most of the benefits of it. And nowadays, Congress party, even though it's monsoon, they are not providing at least 6 to 7 hours of power to the farmers. And some places, it is horribly going on, say, where only 3 to 4 hours of power is being given to them. So, we are skeptical..."

Hyderabad, Telangana: BJP leader Mannmeet Singh says, "Look, regarding the Kaleshwaram project built by BRS, first answer for that. Today, if we look at the Kaleshwaram project, there is no water there at all. So there will be a shortage of water in Telangana. Today Congress is in power, but they are not giving water to farmers, nor are they giving loan waivers to farmers. So in Telangana, the BRS government that ruled over the past 10 years—why did they build the Kaleshwaram project? Why did they build Medaram Dam? How much cut/commission did Harish Rao get in this? How much money did they siphon off during the TRS government? Did they pocket 30% or 40% commission? They are not revealing anything..."

Hyderabad, Telangana: BRS Spokesperson Dinesh Chowdhary says, "This is an utter failure of water management by Revanth Reddy's government. Because we have been saying from the past three months that water is flowing abundantly from Pranahita. You can definitely lift those water from Kannepalli pump house and store these waters in all the reservoirs. But Revanth Reddy's government, due to its vindictive nature, they have put all the interests of people of Telangana on the backburner and they have been carrying out the false campaign saying that, 'No, no, no, these barrages are not safe, we cannot lift the water, we cannot store the water, we cannot hold back the water'. And they even tried to put the blame on NDSA saying that NDSA has not given us permission, whereas NDSA has clearly said, 'We are not the persons to give permission or any approval to anyone to store the water. That is the state government's prerogative'. Whereas the Kaleshwaram project entirely is safe and there is no problem to store water in it..."

Severe winds wreaked havoc in Morampalli Banjara, Burgampadu mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Residents described a terrifying experience as darkness, dust and black clouds engulfed the area. Trees and roofing sheets were blown away, while some people were pushed by the strong winds. Fortunately, residents escaped with minor injuries.

A private travel bus heading to Srisailam caught fire near Karmanghat Hanuman Temple in the early hours of today. The incident was reported around 2:15 AM while the bus was moving. All 38 passengers escaped safely; no casualties were reported. A suspected electrical short circuit is believed to have triggered the fire.

Rama Rao says, "We went to Delhi and also conveyed during the Bihar SIR that you should bring transparency to the process, assign Booth Level Agents, involve every political party, and ensure a participatory system where everybody's doubts are cleared. They were building a mosque on illegal land. Wherever they see a bit of open space, they come and plant a green flag, or if they see a tree, they paint it green. Today in Telangana as well, this has been seen in many places. They have built a shrine right in the middle of the road. They apply green paint in the middle of the road and start operating. On the side, a mechanic will set up under a tree, or a tire repair worker will sit under a tree, and they apply green paint there. Slowly and gradually, they encroach on the land and then build mosques or madrasas..."

Hyderabad, Telangana: BRS Spokesperson Dinesh Chowdhary says "Now, it is clearly evident that there's a power shortage, acute power shortage in Telangana nowadays. Because you can see, farmers coming onto the streets and protesting for provision of quality power supply to them. In fact, Telangana had a distinct history prior to 2023, because after 2014 when Telangana was newly formed, Telangana faced very huge amounts of power shortage. But KCR, with his visionary leadership, had overcome that. And later on, during 2022 that time, while India was reeling under power shortage, Telangana was the only state which was able to provide 24 hours power to even farmers, that too free of cost..."

It is presently about 200 kilometres southeast of Gopalpur, 200 kilometres east-southeast of Kalingapatnam, and 290 kilometres east of Visakhapatnam.
