Lots of news about building new LTC homes/beds. Very little coming from the government about changing how care is delivered. More beds with the same old institutional care - even with more staff - will change NOTHING for residents. Emotion-based care is a MUST! #ChangeLTCNow

The new LTC Act has been passed. When the associated regulations are made public there will be a 60-day window to comment on them. I hope everyone who wants to see a change from institutional to emotion-based care in LTC will take advantage of this opportunity! #ChangeLTCNow
