CEO of French haulage firm interviewed this morning,
"We have decided to no longer accept orders for Great Britain, the paperwork and delays are just so bad it is not worth it for us. Our drivers do not want to go there any longer"
On Monday we will force a vote to stop the government's £1,000 cut to Universal Credit for 6 million families.
This is the worst possible time to cut support for hard-pressed families. Email your MP today and tell them to vote to #CancelTheCut

This timeline is unbelievable. Who is surprised at the complete breakdown in trust between the government & public? Watching this makes one feel like they actually want to kill us. Returning to normality requires tough rules & compliance now. Trust essential for that to happen.
That’s it. No journalist should ever again allow a Gov’t Minister or Conservative MP suggest they are the party of law & order without politely reminding them they have cut 21,000 police officers, 23,000 police support staff & closed 600 police stations. This is such basis stuff
Remember her? The one who said in a video she’d be breaking windows at the Capitol and then had pictures of herself with broken windows at the Capitol? Well...
‘If somebody asks you (to fill in a form) you tell them to ring up the Prime Minister & I will direct them to throw that form in the bin’ @BorisJohnson
Why is this barefaced lie not being shown on every UK news channel?!
So after #Brexit, Brits will work the longest hours in Europe, until they reach the highest retirement age in Europe, at which point they will get one of the lowest pensions in Europe. The Tories are nothing if not consistent.
We end the week with a minister who can’t comprehend why he should feel ashamed for voting against feeding hungry kids, another making jokes about fish as Scottish fishermen lose their livelihoods & a lying PM intent on tearing up workers rights. Report that #BBC1
Congratulations to the government for introducing travel restrictions exactly one year after coronavirus spread across the world due to unrestricted travel. Power move.
Embarrassing time with the UPS man just now - he asked for £106 and I thought he was joking so said 'cash or cheque?' He was not joking, it was a parcel from France and Brexit means whopping great shipping charges. Desolee.
66% of Republicans say Donald acted responsibly last week
56% of Republican say Donald bears NO responsibility for the assault on the Capitol
65% of Republicans think there is evidence of voter fraud
So, Republicans, if you want unity, BeBest™ if you clean your own house first
It’s a shameful indictment of UK media & an indefensible scandal that our Prime Minister has been allowed to normalize barefaced lying. Now is the time when we must come together to stop him. We can do it by exposing every lie for all to see. We can do it TOGETHER. Whose with me?
The sticking point for the withdrawal deal in 2019 was N.Ireland. For the final trade deal in 2020 it was fish. In both cases we were told U.K. was bargaining so hard it would risk no deal. But both Ulster and the fishing industry have been screwed. Great work Team GB!
Barnier tells FT, he offered UK special travel rights for journalists, musicians, artists in deal talks but Frost, presumably on orders from Johnson terrified of DTel/Mail/IDS etc turned them down. As NUJ member this is very sad
