@zschrieber There's also a direct relationship between your tolerance and culinary skills.
Like Im rly not eating this if I could have better food at home.
@crypt0x_0 It's better to be remote surrounded by the best than be in-person in the wrong room.
In-person in the right room? Sure. Ideal. But never in-person for the sake of it.
@tomfgoodwin This. It's never about 'hard work' or 'being busy'. It's an overwhelming amount of meaningless, draining things vs meaningful, filling things.
All women really want is to be driving down a narrow mountain road in Italy in a vintage Jaguar convertible with a scarf on their head while playing Nancy Sinatra
@benln I want to agree, but feel this only works for certain groups. You have to be in spaces and amongst people with opportunities. Others without the right contacts /credentials/ backgrounds can hardly grow vertically, let alone horizontally.
@ThatChristinaG Theaters need to become about more than just the latest big studio releases.
-Reshow old movies
-Tap into the culture of TV and show the year's biggest finales
-Consider other ways to add to the experience
It's taken me many years to accept, but I realize now that nothing will ever come close to the level of satisfaction I had watching the restoration of Woody in Toy Story 2
@heyalexfriedman This. I know what I feel is b/c I'm not busy enough doing things that fill me up, and too bored doing things that drain me. It's not a matter of hours spent working.
People ascribe the term "burn out" to being drained and it's not quite the same. I'm trying to get *busier*.
