ناخن کی تکلیف کے باعث بلاک نمبر 18 (گرلز کالج روڈ) پر واقع 'رشید میڈیکل اسٹور' گئیں۔ وہاں موجود عطائی ندیم نے معمولی آپریشن کر کے پٹی باندھ دی۔ اگلے دن جب وہ دوبارہ گئیں، تو ندیم کی جگہ اس کا بھائی نسیم عطائی موجود تھا، جس نے خود کو زیادہ تجربہ کار ظاہر کرتے ہوئے پٹی تبدیل کی اور اریزہ کو کولہے پر دو انجکشن لگا دیے۔
انجکشن لگتے ہی معصوم اریزہ نے شدید تکلیف کی شکایت کی، جسم نیلا پڑنے لگا اور وہ بے ہوش ہو گئی۔ حالت بگڑنے پر اسے فوری طور پر ڈی ایچ کیو سرگودھا منتقل کیا گیا، جہاں ڈاکٹروں نے بتایا کہ غلط انجکشن کی وجہ سے بچی کے جسم میں شدید انفیکشن پھیل چکا ہے۔ تین دن تک وینٹی لیٹر پر زندگی اور موت کی جنگ لڑنے کے بعد، 6 جولائی کی صبح اریزہ فاطمہ اس دنیا سے رخصت ہو گئی۔
یہ صرف غفلت نہیں، بلکہ ایک معصوم بچی کا قتلِ عمد ہے! ناخن کے معمولی درد کا علاج کروانے والی اریزہ آج منوں مٹی تلے جا سوئی ہے اور اس کے والدین جیتے جی مر چکے ہیں۔
۔ شہر بھر میں پھیلے ان "موت کے سوداگروں" (عطائیوں) کے خلاف گرینڈ آپریشن کیا جائے تاکہ کل کسی اور کی بیٹی اس ظلم کا شکار نہ ہو۔

@namiraakhalil Doctors are already struggling with low salaries, exhausting duty hours and an unbearable workload. locking the incubator room was the MS/administration’s decision and doctors didn’t even have the keys then the accountability should be on the management not the doctors.

@hashurtag They could have implemented other security measures for the incubator but locking the door is simply not justifiable There are safer alternatives controlled access monitoring screening etc Security shld never mean compromising the safety and accessibility of a critical care area
