20 MARCH 2003 – OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM GROUND CAMPAIGN BEGINS
The main thrust of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM’s (OIF) ground assault burst forth from Kuwait, with the I MEF striking northwards while the U.S. Army’s V Corps swung northwest to towards the lower Euphrates Valley.
1st place scholarship is guaranteed to be at least $3000. Additional scholarship award levels will be awarded. A total of $13,000 raised so far for this year's scholarship program. The award ceremony will be held on Thursday, 17 April 2025 at the 1918 Club on Fort Benning.
