Lars B was making Deep House with Deeper Shades of House from when I was still in High School and he is STILL a prominent figure in the Deep House fraternity. Nearly every artist that was profiled on the Urban Beat is still very much relevant in the Deep House space today. That genre is very niche and you can have crazy longevity when the audience is receptive to you.
