A lot of ppl seem to only talk about the traumatic event of their oc, and let that define their OC rather than talk about their personality or ship (1/4)

I might be biased since I played OE when I was really early into my Splatoon Era, but some levels just sucked to play and besides the characters I don’t rlly understand why its so beloved.
For me Raiders looks better, plays better and has better music, no doubt in my mind.

@Kemmo_Ado @SplatwtConfess Showing emotion and a characters actions is a lot more important to convey a character's sense of self and personality, sure they're WRITTEN to have one, but you can only make informed GUESSES from that on how they'd l ACT, not how they'd actually act.

8 has as much personality as agent 3 (barely any besides 1 or 2 emotions)
Ost and vibes are very subjective so I can't say anything abt that.

Enviroments and blocks used for levels, sure some level designs might be reused sometimes in gem dungeons, but besides that, its beautiful.
I fear the people who believ OE is better than Raiders might ironically, just be blinded by Nostalgia.

2- the skyboxes in ROTM are genuinely always so gorgeous to look at that it's not even a competiton with the "gradient skyboxes with random nostlagia objects" that OE has.
Now factor all that in and look at Raiders.
