This is a very worrying development. LGB Alliance, an organisation that compared the LGBTQ+ community to bestiality and claims openly that "there is no LGBT+ community", has been given lottery funding to set up a phone line to talk to vulnerable young people. A shocking decision.

Diversity is bringing different voices and perspectives together. Inclusion is making them all feel safe enough to share their thoughts and experiences. This is what every Trustee Board needs to be aiming for whatever cause you are fighting for.

Diversity means what you do on a board. It’s an attitude, a culture, a way of thinking differently, that’s inclusive and challenges the status quo, it poses the difficult question, creates space for new opinions, amplifies fresh voices. It’s not a box you tick and think ‘done.’

but charities failing to mention #LGBTQ+ folks for most of the year, then cynically changing their logos for 1 month in #PrideMonth is part of our oppression, + it matters. A LOT #Pride #CharityHour
