Please differentiate between Nationality and ethnicity. I am samia and I have relatives in Kenya. They can't occupy public office in Uganda just as I can't occupy public office in Kenya. Those of you who are advancing the tribal narrative have something to hide.

On October 16, 2014, a party was organized by SMACK OBs at Rivonia Suites Mbuya. This party was graced by Gen. @mkainerugaba himself. That same evening a group codenamed UNP@50 standing for Uganda's Next president at 50 was formed.

However,
1. When PLU numbers were being allocated, none of the 2014 group was given a nunber except Linos if am not mistaken.
2. No one from from Bakedi has a PLU number. Now this is more unsettling because we feel that in @DaudiKabanda's calculus

I agree verily. You can't approve a nominee based on the assumption that he has written a letter of renounciation. Public offices must be occupied by people who owe total allegiance ro Uganda not opportunists.

It is the Parliament of Uganda that has engaged in selective application of the law. A certified application for renunciation of citizenship is not a certificate of acceptable. So parliament should have rejected all that had dual citizenship at the time they appeared before parliament. Lawyers always advise not to make decisions based on anticipation. For example after an appointment, I can quietly apply for cancellation of the renunciation of the citizen or the concerned country can reject the application.

That is why one cannot be nominated on the basis of anticipating that he or she will have the equivalent at the time of being sworn in as MP. You must meet the requirements at nomination.
The Ministerial appointees are required to meet all requirements at the time of vetting by parliament. So why single out @ReachDrMuganga

And what does the Ugandan Law say about @ReachDrMuganga 's citizenship status? Stop using tribalism to circumvent the real issues. It as about strict compliance with the law and not your shallow tribal escapism

If yes, are you willing to renounce the other citizenships or not?
