ON THIS DAY-5th April 1824 William Fulke Lucy was christened. The occasion was celebrated with a first dinner served in the new dining room - designed for entertaining in style with views of the river.

Head out for a walk through West Park, signs of Spring are everywhere along the historic tree-lined avenue.
Yesterday we launched a new first floor experience in the mansion. Extremely proud of the team for all their hard work over the last 18 months. Also very proud of my hair for behaving all day.
Early signs of spring are here!
Between the House &the Orangery, purple and white crocuses, have made an appearance.
Snowdrops & wild crocuses are visible by the Croquet Lawn.
Hellebores bloom around the Woodland Garden – well worth a visit

Charlecote Park is partially open due to high winds. The cafés, Parterre and Woodland Garden are closed, but the rest of the site is open as usual and the Welly Wander trail is up and running.☂️
