Our healthcare system needs resources to be ready for the next crisis—saving lives, stabilizing our economy, and building resilient communities. With a dedicated budget line, we can ensure our hospitals, clinics, and frontline workers are prepared, equipped, and empowered to respond quickly to any health emergency.
Legislators, include a public health emergency preparedness and response fund in the budget to protect Kenya’s future. Investing in readiness today means a safer, stronger Kenya tomorrow.
Equipping our healthcare facilities with the tools, training, and resources they need is key to a resilient health system. By investing in epidemic preparedness, we empower our facilities to effectively respond to future outbreaks, manage ongoing health challenges, and protect every community. Preparedness isn't just about readiness—it's about building a stronger, healthier Kenya for all.

Completely agree, Dr. Ouma! Building robust, coordinated systems across ministries and agencies is essential for effective emergency response. With strong policies, plans, and early warning mechanisms in place, we can empower our healthcare facilities to act swiftly and save lives. Let's continue to prioritize #EpidemicPreparedness to protect Kenya's future health security. #BuildTheShield #PandemicPreparedness #Health4All
@NOPEKENYA Absolutely agree! A dedicated fund would make all the difference in ensuring Kenya's health system stays strong even in tough times. #BuildtheShield#PreparednotScared
A dedicated Public Health Emergency Fund is essential to ensure quick mobilization of resources, uninterrupted service delivery and enhanced readiness for future outbreaks. A fund that can shield Kenya would ensure that during global political transitions, elections cycles or economic downturns Kenya's health is shielded. #BuildtheShield #PreparednotScared #Utayari
@NOPEKENYA 100% agree! It's time to future-proof our healthcare system by investing in preparedness. We need to be ready for any potential outbreaks. #PandemicPreparedness#BuildTheShield

@OsoroSylvanus Bwana osoro,
PPP is good but not through Adani. Adani are corrupt and high chance is that it is going to cripple our economy and airport.
