We have great news to share about the removal of the stone barrier walls project.  Last week the DCR awarded the Engineering and Design contract for the wall removals to Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc.  VHB is headquartered in Watertown.  @MassDCR @EmNecklaceBos

(1/5) This week, @MassDCR engineering crews set about repairing a large sinkhole that opened in Charlesgate Park on January 18. This series of images shows the agency's efforts to repair the damage. Once the sinkhole was reported, the area was blocked off.

@MassDOT is making emergency repairs in the South Field area of Charlesgate. Work is scheduled to be finished December 2.

The Boston Planning and Development Agency announced that the Charlesgate Alliance will receive $10,000 to plant five new trees in Charlesgate next Spring. The money comes from the Fenway Demonstration Project, which is funded by the Red Sox.
