Zohran Mamdani told voters he was going to make NYC more affordable, but his new delivery-app crackdown says otherwise. Expect higher food costs baked into your order (which already are outrageous) and for tipping to be MANDATORY before the service is even provided! Make sure to say hi to your local homeless encampment residents on your way to pick up your food since delivery is now out of the budget.

The antitrust scrutiny is valid. Netflix is already too large for the market--and the merging with WB is only going to exacerbate what is quickly causing a lack of consumer protection (hello constant price hikes). We'll see if lawmakers ultimately step in. In the meantime, thank you Uncle John for texting me the emailed code every time I get locked out of your account (save where you can people lol).
