@TheCinesthetic Also, outside the 4 big set pieces, this one, the stampede, the bug scene, and New York, the movie is way too long, poorly paced, and most the characters lack any sort of depth. It's not a terrible movie. But it's not a great one, either.

@TheCinesthetic The CGI is good, but the composting is off. If you look at this scene, the lighting with Naomi Watts doesn't match that well with Kong. If you removed Watts from the scene, it looks amazing. But Watts is important to the scene and falls in this weird place.
