Napoli says the African American and Latino curriculum is heavy and makes it difficult to adequately get through the course in half a school year. Would like to talk about moving to a full year course possibly.
Napoli was asked if there was language in the bill that mandated African America and Latino Studies that required it be taught by African American and Latino teachers.
The answer was no, but Napoli says he’s monitoring the conversation. Added the bill labeled it an elective.
