5. Start small, add later
First entry small, at the level. Second entry bigger, only after a strong candle confirms.
Then the stop moves to break even.
You buy the breakout. Price ticks up, then flips and hits your stop.
A minute later it rips in your direction without you.
Your direction was right. Your stop was the fuel it needed first.
Fabio Valentini ranked top 3 in the Robbins Cup with over 500% in 12 months.
He only trades his model during the New York session.
Most traders try to trade every session.
The fix: find the hours your setup works best, and stay out of the rest.
Since 2022 I've sat down with hundreds of traders on Words of Rizdom. The idea that changed my own trading most wasn't a strategy.
It was time frame alignment.

Some trade liquidity.
Some read order flow.
Some trade the news and fundamentals.
Same markets, different methods, all live on stream.
Liquidity, order flow or fundamentals: which one is yours?

Average True Range shows how far a stock normally moves in a day.
ATR of $4 with $3.60 already done means 90% of a normal day is used up.

"I'm a seven figure funded trader."
At the time, they were still blowing accounts.
They did it every single day until the first funded payout came.
You see someone post a trade, so you take it too.
But you don't know their stop, their size, or when they plan to exit.
So when it goes wrong, you have no plan at all.
The fix: only take trades you could explain yourself.
