Procedural Memory - The Real Secret to Trading Mastery

How to build it:
1-Pick ONE setup and study it exclusively until entries become sub-second decisions. Mixing setups resets procedural memory for all of them.

2-Study history: review 5,000-10,000 past setups :what preceded a good burst, how it acted post-breakout, how much it moved in 3-5 days, and what failed breakouts looked like.

3-Daily practice loop: find stocks up 40%+ today → analyze why → look for a similar setup tomorrow. Do this for 2-3 earnings seasons.

4-Feedback loop: paper trade or trade small size → review every entry → correct specifically ("I entered late because I waited for confirmation," not "I need more discipline") → repeat.

5-Maturity signal: entries and exits feel effortless, decisions take under 2 seconds, P&L improves as a byproduct not the goal itself.

This develops in weeks and months, not years with focused, correct practice. Same as learning to drive.
