Trump is slashing billions from cancer research, putting life-saving work at risk. We can step in: bring the fired US cancer scientists to the UK to continue their vital work. Iโve signed a petition asking Keir Starmer to act - will you? https://t.co/Xdw74gdF7x
Indispensable information for his MAGA followers at last to know, directly from what they consider an unimpeachably informed and undeniably reliable, medically accredited source, obviously.
@PeterStefanovi2 But isn't that what he WANTS to do? Then replace it with an American style insurance rip off system. With him skimming off a big share of the subsequent health insurance profiteering.
They made the mistake of electing Trump TWICE so why wouldn't they do the mistake TWICE for a civil war as well?
I just hope they don't export those dim witted ideas round the world like they USAally do.
Two good things about recent press coverage of UK politicians:
โ @Nigel_Farage & the @ReformParty_uk rabble are finally coming in for (fully justified) criticism.
โ @EdwardJDavey & the @LibDems are (at long last) getting the exposure they deserve.
Do you agree?
@var2000 @gunsnrosesgirl3 But the question was mathematical not biological, the hole is fictional. The frog is theoretical and immaterial, not real, so it cannot die, it needs neither food nor water, it was never a living entity, in reality it never existed.
@Keir_Starmer At what cost though? We have more in common with Europe now than with a Trump led, tariff weilding, overbearing, AMERICA FIRST, MAGA mental USA.
Of course Trump breaking protocol once again walking in front of the king like he did with the queenโฆ..why do these people continue to roll out the red carpet for this uncultured slob
๐ฌ๐ง I would like to say, on behalf of myself and the people on the United Kingdom ๐ฌ๐ง
We do not agree with the state visit of Donald Trump to the UK tomorrow. We pride ourselves by setting a standard, and this visit is a stain on everything we stand for as a country.
Our Soldierโs, our Ancestors fought and died fighting the same fascism this man represents. I stand for my country and its values through and through, but right now, Iโm ashamed we have let this happen.
The people of the UK despise this man, and i feel ashamed that our Government, our Royal Family, the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office, our Prime Minister and most importantly, Our King have let this happen despite strong and outspoken opposition across the UK.
As a British Citizen, I do not stand for this. This was a man that stood before our Queen and disrespected every custom that world leaders around the world have exercised for decades, exercised infront of our former and late Queen, Queen Elizabeth. Customs that showed honour, not because of rule, because of etiquette and respect. And to this man nothing is sacred, except depravity, crime, and sickness in everything he touches.
This day, is a day that I hope history forgets because symbolism, ceremony, the ritual of showing respect and welcoming someone on a state visit is extremely important to us, and we have just lowered ourselves to the levels of his depravity by allowing him to visit.
I feel sorry for every soldier that has to stand before this man in duty tomorrow.
