Markets. Former fixed income analyst. Will try 2 capture & repost the most interesting charts that caught my attention over the past week. A work in progress.
@SHH61790482@AdamMancini4 it's basically his entire strategy - you can understand a fair amount of how he does it from his tweets, but you'd need to subscribe to his daily newsletter to learn about it in detail
@AdamMancini4 you don't expect the all-time high (6288.75) to see a reaction?
or is that what some of this sluggish movement is now, some profit-taking while building up energy
@GbStephen@AdamMancini4 anytime futures are trading, as technically there can be a FBD anytime - that said, practically speaking he mainly focuses on certain times

@Poopieshoe23@OnTheHooch@AdamMancini4 he is often in runners, that's true - he patiently waits for his high percentage win FBD, takes his level out, then sits in runner - prevents overtrading - in the current market, it hasn't often been taking out big lows, so yes, it seems like he's always got a runner going
@dbesanti @AdamMancini4 he's said 5850 a couple times now, so unless he's changed it, which I doubt, I am pretty sure that's it - here's one

@golfandtrading @AdamMancini4 I'm pretty sure he wouldn't use a simple numerical stop but instead would use a stop based on the chart/prices - so look at most recent low and then go a little under it in case it undercuts slightly - the 9:57 low was 57.50, the 58 obviously got close but didn't go below
@andy_skyfall1@cjb_twit@AdamMancini4 Chris, not sure if it's that simple - E's futures have contract rolls and such - I know that affects the E's to SPY, so probably (?) E's to SPX as well - Andy, if you use TradingView, maybe take a look at this converter

@AdamMancini4@wait_andsee@anthony_kozuch I don't know. Seems an awful lot of the FBD's occur w/out headlines. Many occur overnight.
The overnight ones might be easier 2 understand, don't need as much capital 2 move the market 2 get your flush & grab standing orders/liquidity. Maybe that's why so many seem to occur then.
@wait_andsee@AdamMancini4@anthony_kozuch And subsequently, why does price so often just seem to carry on and on, basically in Mode 1 after one of these flushes occurs.
Were that many people really caught offside? Whats the explanation?
Especially in the past month or 2, some of these post-FBD runs have been so strong.
@wait_andsee@AdamMancini4@anthony_kozuch I get the theory in general but would love to see more details on it though because I don't fully get how they actually get the price down.
I.e., how does one (or more) investor get something as widely traded as the E's to fall like 10, 20, 30, etc. points to one of these levels?
