July was ... meh... for thunderstorms here in Panama City. I've seen much better. But considering I spent time in Texas, North Carolina, and Georgia, guess it wasn't so bad. 🤷
Chasing Bolts tonight at the Panama City Marina. Had to be patient on this one. First storm came through, but didn't want to get camera in the rain. So I waited for the next cell, and it produced a few good bolts. Bonus...I stayed dry. 👍

Surf got a little rough in St Andrews Bay this afternoon. #TropicalStormBertha was 120 miles to our southwest, close enough for us to experience the outer bands.
Winds 20mph, gusting to 40mph. White caps on St Andrews Bay. #TropicalStormBertha is 120 miles SW of here and moving west. Spiraling bands of showers and thunderstorms here for most of the day. Definitely not a beach day. 🚩🚩

I'm 100 miles north of #TropicalStormBertha. Off and on showers all day today. Luckily, she's a little lop-sided with majority of the weather south of the center of circulation. Weather same on Tuesday, but with SE winds 15-25mph.
According to the HAFS-B model, wind speed, direction, and pressure at 12 noon Monday, July 20.
If this storm is named, it will be #Bertha.

Saharan dust coming from Africa, across the Atlantic giving us some seriously hazy skies, but the trade-off is the absolutely stunning sunset colors.
