The deed is done. Going big for my first unsupported ultra cycling race, the Transatlantic Way Ultra. 2500km/6days non-stop along the Wild Atlantic Way next August. Just me, my music, a couple of spare tubes and a big fucking point to prove to myself.

Tomorrow is going to be 17-21 degrees during the Ratoath half marathon. I wont point out the obvious tips, but Id adjust your mindset. You’ll inevitably run slower tomorrow. This isnt a cause of fitness concern. You’re not unfit. You dont need to panic for your autumnal marathon.
