The Philadelphia Eagles released Brandon Graham as a procedural move due to post June 1 cap implications.
But should the Eagles re-sign him and bring him back for a 17th year? BG has said he's open to playing another year and I think Howie Roseman should bring him back.
BG was a very impactful and valuable rotational player at EDGE and DT last season when Jalen Carter got hurt. He had three sacks and two TFL in just 113 snaps. The Eagles could use another affordable DL.

The Philadelphia Eagles have shown how much they value Jalen Carter and how special of a player they think he is by not being willing to give him up in blockbuster trades for Maxx Crosby or Myles Garrett.
Carter is one of the few, special players in the NFL who can take over games by himself when he's healthy and playing at his best. Dominant.

AJ Brown was happy his first season with the Eagles in 2022, then after that, nothing made him happy, even when the Eagles were winning and he was producing. He became a malcontent.
His negative energy became a distraction for the Eagles and impacted the vibes around the 2025 team. It was time for both parties to move on.
AJ Brown reportedly was unhappy about his role in the offense, yet here's where he ranked among all WR during his four years in Philly:
Targets: 521 (7th)
Receptions: 339 (11th)
Receiving Yards: 5,034 (5th)
Receiving Touchdowns: 32 (7th)
Oh yea, the Eagles made it to two Super Bowls in those four years.

REPORT: The Cardinals are in active trade talks and COULD trade Josh Sweat today. The Packers and Eagles are said to be the two most interested teams.
Would it make sense for the Eagles to bring Sweat back after trading for Jonathan Greenard?

A wild game one of the Stanley Cup Finals last night. The Vegas Golden Knights feel like a team of destiny right now. What John Tortorella has done is impressive.

The AJ Brown trade is a good deal for the Philadelphia Eagles. Howie Roseman did not get fleeced.
There wasn't much of a market for AJ. The Rams showed light interest, but quickly moved on. He was getting to traded to the Patriots all along and everybody knew that.
Howie Roseman fleeced the Titans, trading a 1st and 3rd round pick for AJ in 2022. He became a 3-time All-Pro in four seasons, went over 1,000 yards every year, scored 32 TD and helped the Eagles make it to two Super Bowls, winning one.
The Eagles got a 1st and a 5th back for player that some teams weren't interested in due to knee problems at 29 years old.
When there's not much of a market, it's hard to drive the price tag up.

Once 4p ET hits, AJ Brown could get traded at any moment.
Here's how I will remember his legacy in Philadelphia.
- AJ Brown goes down as one of the best players in franchise history
- At his peak in Philadelphia, he was a top 3-5 WR in the NFL
- He's the only WR in franchise history to go over 1,000 yards four straight seasons
- AJ was a 3-time All-Pro in four years
- He was one of the most valuable players during a run that saw the Eagles win double digit games four years in a row, win three NFC East titles, make it to two Super Bowls and won a Lombardi Trophy
- A complete, all-around WR, who at times was unstoppable
- You can make the argument he's the best WR in franchise history

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed a WR on the day that AJ Brown could get traded.
How should Eagles fans remember AJ?

Howie Roseman has put on a clinic for how he's handled the AJ Brown situation.
- No leaks from the building
- No trade request from AJ
- Rebuilt the WR room by drafting Makai Lemon, trading for Dontayvion Wicks and signing Marquise Brown, with DeVonta Smith rising to WR1
- Created cap space to absorb the AJ Brown dead money

Are the Eagles poking around on a Myles Garrett trade? Howie Roseman showed a ton of interest last offseason.
NFL insider Albert Breer said "the Eagles are somebody you always pay attention to."
I know the Eagles traded for Jonathan Greenard, but if there's an opportunity to trade for the best non-QB in the NFL, you do it.

Notable Eagles lineup notes from OTA's today:
🏈 Makai Lemon already running with the starters
🏈Johnny Wilson a starting WR with Dontayvion Wicks absent
🏈Cam Jurgens & Landon Dickerson practicing
🏈Marcus Epps starting safety alongside Makuba
🏈 Andy Dalton as QB2 ahead of Tanner McKee!!!
🏈Jonathan Jones & Jakorian Bennett CB2’s. Kelee Ringo slides down the depth chart
🏈Markel Bell 1st string RT with Lane Johnson not there
🏈Johnny Mundt at TE2, not Eli Stowers

Eagles OTAs reaction: https://t.co/M4bCy25iZi
Andy Dalton QB2?!? Markel Bell the starting RT without Lane Johnson. Kelee Ringo isn't even a second string CB. New offense struggles vs. Vic Fangio.

Interesting note from Eagles OTAs today:
Markel Bell, who the Eagles took with the 68th pick was the first string RT with Lane Johnson being absent.
Bell made 21 starts at LT at Miami, but Jordan Mailata is only 29 years old, so it looks like Bell could be the Eagles future Lane Johnson replacement.
Talked about that last week.

The San Francisco 49ers have the MOST cap space in the NFL at $72 million. Does that mean a big move is coming? Not necessarily.
Cap space can be rolled over and in 2027, the 49ers are $35 million OVER the cap, which is second to last in the NFL. Opening up cap space now helps the Niners financially next offseason.
The 49ers have also pushed a lot of contracts down the road for when the salary cap continues to go up and when the new TV deal comes into play, which will also bump the cap up, softening the blow on the cap for San Francisco in the future.
