Respect! You have given me a reason to have some hope in Alabama again. I have to admit I had always loved Alabama football going back to a child. That being said the petulant whining and insults thrown by the fans and staff this year to other teams mixed with the onslaught of hypothetical games made me actively start rooting against them. Here’s hoping for lessons learned and the restart of the once great character the university and fans used to have.

Usually I would defend Alabama and its fans but this year and all the hypothetical wins over the last two weeks they keep spouting is beyond defense. The fact that their fans actually comment on other teams social media sites just to tell them they don’t belong is the definition of a petulant child. I hate to say it but Alabama has reached a new low. Just take the setback like a champ and own it. They will do well next year but shitting on Indiana, SMU, Clemson, etc is sad.

Hahahaha! So true. I find this game hilarious. This is what SEC fans get for talking trash about every team from other conferences. Wait for the hypotheticals to start from fans whose teams are at home. If my team was in we would be up by double digits. The SEC never loses hypotheticals.

Look, I really like the SEC but this year it is sad with the petulant whining of fans and sadly coaches of certain teams who can’t stay off social media or TV.

Went to SMU but also an Ole Miss fan. Preston was SMU’s backup this season. That being said has always been a class act and one of the leaders of this team. Any team he goes to will get a good player and teammate. SMU knew he was leaving but he issued a statement today saying he will stay with the Ponies and go to Penn State. Good luck in the bowl and Ole Miss is going to be great next year.

We knew he was leaving some time back but has always been a leader for this team. He issued a statement to SMU and its fans saying he is playing the remainder of the season with the team.

Please tell me how SMU personally hurt you? So Alabama lost to some bad SEC teams…shit happens. These losses kept Alabama out. Don’t worry Alabama will be in the playoffs again and more than likely next year. Shitting on a team that didn’t cause you to lose against Vandy and Oklahoma is really sad. You and Alabama are better than that. I say this as someone who usually roots for Bama.
