@arenacraftpod Maybe the answer is to see it as "a burn deck with the best white creatures mixed in", as opposed to "mono-white with red burn spells".

@arenacraftpod By my analysis, Boros has a better matchup than monoW into midrange decks (Jund, Esper etc.) and mono-green.

It has a worse matchup into aggro decks like Naya Runes.

So it doesn't seem strictly worse, it's just different.
