I think there is a point Sen. Sifuna has been making albeit satirically, that their agenda No.1 is RUTO MUST GO & that this should never be understood to mean they do not have an agenda contrary to how the President has been attacking them to lack an Agenda. He then finalizes by saying all the people want is not fancy ideas but commitment to human rights and constitutionalism. He often uses the case of Albert Ojwang' & then makes a commitment that he will not KILL YOUNG PEOPLE. This is the point ; it is possible to do development & respect HUMAN RIGHTS & CONSTITUTIONALISM ALL at the same time. A state should not believe to build the Talanta Stadium for instance, it must violate citizen engagement or to keep peace, it has to kill or to build a road, environmental rights have to be trumped. Development is no development without respect to the core tenets of humanity.
