The NHS was built by British people, paid for by British taxes and National Insurance, for British people. That’s the whole point of it.

Why are we pretending it’s some kind of world hospital that everyone on the planet can just turn up and use for free? It isn’t. It’s ours.

Foreigners and I mean all of them, not just the ones coming as migrants on the boats should pay for their own healthcare when they’re here.

Whether that’s through proper charges, insurance, or the surcharge like some already do. Stop dumping the bill on British taxpayers who are already struggling with long waiting lists and stretched services.

We fund it. We should benefit from it first. It’s that simple. If people want free NHS care, they can become British citizens and contribute like the rest of us do. Otherwise, they pay their way.

The NHS isn’t an international charity. It’s a British institution. Time we started treating it like one.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ and STOP it being abused.

Mike Tapp has called for a major constitutional change: a law that would trigger a General Election whenever the governing party removes its leader.

He argues that if a party forces out its own leader, the public not just MPs behind closed doors should get the final say at the ballot box.

In his words:

“That would stop the constant churn and focus all politicians on delivery, instead of workplace politics. The country would benefit.”

I actually agree with him and think this is a good idea.
