@onlyfooty22 @_Riddxck That's true and this is how he played all season. I think it was a trade off he was happy to accept believing that you could simply outscore every team which you did for the majority of the season. I just think he gets a lot of stick when that team had no right challenging.

@onlyfooty22 @_Riddxck I get what you are saying. They should have commited less men forward but in fairness you did dominate that game. Chelsea barely had a kick and only scored from an individual error and a last minute break away goal. You were just simply unlucky.

@onlyfooty22 @_Riddxck I personally thought he played it right. You had a defence of Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan and Johnson. You want to limit the time your opponent have near your box because that defence was awful. That defence was too error prone to rely on to keep a clean sheet.

@onlyfooty22 @_Riddxck I have a strong feeling if he played conservative the narrative would be why is he inviting pressure unto the team. Liverpool's defence at the time was awful. That liverpool team rarely kept a clean sheet. They were offensive monsters. So why not play to their strength?

@onlyfooty22 @_Riddxck The fact is goals change games and Liverpool were comfortable in that game until Gerrard's slip. I don't know why people keep trying to find someone to blame for that defeat when it was just bad luck that Gerrard happen to slip at that moment.

@onlyfooty22 @_Riddxck Rodgers decisions was always going to get scrutunised either way. If he set up defensive and playe for a draw, he would've been criticised for changing an approach that had got them to the top of the table. He massively overachieved with an awful Liverpool team.

It just happens at a much higher frequency than desired at Manchester United. Decision making is a massive problem.

@YAANITEED @Emanxamilius_ Fred is an important player for Brazil in a team where Casemiro and Fabinho are his competitors. Fred is a very good player in a shambolic team. Mctominay on the other hand would not garner any interest from any top half club if he was ever transfer listed.

@Football_TaIk @DiMarzio Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Man City, Barcelona have all been successful in recent years playing a style of football that revolves around high work rate, ball retention, build up from the back etc. United are one of the few big clubs that insist on playing archaic football.
