These design choices inside College Football 27 are really hard to ignore due to EA's recent decisions
If I start a Road to Glory as a 5-Star Pure Runner QB in CFB 27, my overall is only a 73. In CFB 26 with the same build, my overall would start as a 80
You would also have some physical abilities already unlocked and upgraded in CFB 26 as a higher rated recruit, but even as a 5-star in 27, I'm starting college with 0
The microtransactions are out of order for me and I'm trying to figure out why they're sorted this way
Dynasty defaults to Online now, instead of Offline like it did on CFB 26. It only gives you reasons to select Online, which is the one with micro transactions
When you double down on your stance, and lose the trust you have built within the community, the smaller things that I would never question are seen in a much different light. Do what's right. #CFBPlayDontPay
Not only is almost every creator speaking out, but so is your entire community
I’m extremely proud with how everybody has come together #CFBPlayDontPay
Spent $150 on an absolutely ridiculous MVP+ membership just to be blindsided by microtransactions and basically ruining offline modes by nuking progression rates
EA is inarguably a horrible company run by pathetic people

You would have to win the national championship every single year for the next 150 years to max out your coach in College Football 27 for free. Or you can just pay EA ninety nine dollars and ninety nine cents.
I own this game and I'm not touching it until this gets fixed. It's Dynasty mode, single player, I'm not playing against anyone, and last year there was a setting for exactly this, Fast, Fastest, and now it's gone, deleted, replaced with a price tag on the same thing.
Road to Glory got it worse. Taking a created player from a 50 overall to an 80 overall runs about fifty bucks, against a coordinator who isn't even real.
A creator named @bordeauxyoutube, somebody who's defended this franchise for years, messaged an EA developer and asked if the fast settings got pulled on purpose. Got ghosted, not a yes, not a no, just nothing.
@NotTheExpertYT, another guy who's been fair to this franchise for years, called it heinous, and when your own defenders start reaching for that word, EA should be worried.
Who sits in a meeting and signs off on charging a grown man a hundred dollars to beat a computer faster?
I can't get there.
Ultimate Team, fine, that's always been pay to win, you know the deal. This one's different, call it what it is, a cover charge, a vig, and a valet fee, for a video game you play alone.
It's DISGUSTING, and the wildest part is they were betting nobody would actually sit down and do the math on a hundred and fifty years.

If I wasn’t clear enough yesterday, I will never work with @EASPORTSCollege again if they don’t reverse these decisions.
EA’s playbook will be to wait out the backlash. That’s why this conversation can’t stop. And trust me… we’re not the only ones who feel this way. #CFBPlayDontPay
I’ve been seeing a lot of what the community has been saying about creators like myself who got the game early but I can assure you we were not briefed on microtransactions entering the offline modes. In fact I heard that there would not be microtransactions entering these modes but I don’t remember who told me that explicitly. I also wasn’t even aware that coach XP settings had been changed as that is not something I’ve ever messed with as I typically keep things to default settings to mirror the experience of 90% of the user base. I don’t inherently have a problem with microtransactions as long as there is transparency and if people who have less time to grind want to pay for a headstart I don’t really care, it’s just something I would personally avoid. What I absolutely have a problem with is sneaking them in WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY TAKING OUT the XP progression speed that gave creative control for free. This is not something that should be locked behind a paywall and doing it in this way I think is not only shady but a sign of things to come where core features are pay to play. Dynasty has the potential to be the best mode in any sports game and doing things like this “behind our backs” is not something we should accept. The greatness of this mode is that it is not like ultimate team. Go charge those guys whatever, it’s a pay to play mode. You win. But do not bring this pay to play model to what is at its core, an offline mode. It’s disappointing and we deserve better @EASPORTSCollege #CFBPlayDontPay
Mac Miller rose to superstardom from the blog era
but if you remember “Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza”…
you were tapped in early.
