When anyone asks me whether crimes that do not end in homicide deserve the death penalty, here is one more I can add to the list.

The guy picks up a 15-year-old hitchhiker, rapes her repeatedly for an entire night before he uses an axe to cut off her forearms. He then throws her down a 30-foot culvert, after which he leaves because he assumes she is dying.

The brave girl then uses mud to staunch the bleeding of her amputated limbs and walks four miles naked before passersby saw her and took her to the hospital.

The guy gets fourteen years, the maximum allowed for his crime. He serves just eight years for good behavior because there are no teenage girls in prison whose arms he can cut off.

Then at the age of 70, after he has relocated to Florida, he murders a 31-year-old prostitute.

Yeah, he should've been executed the first time.

The man who was filming Shiloh Hendrix was Sharmake Beyle Omar

He was previously charged with raping a 16 year old after she ran away from her foster home.

According to court records, the teenager told law enforcement that Mohamed Omer picked her up at a Rochester Kwik Trip and offered her a place to stay at his trailer, then propositioned and raped her after the teenager told him she would not have sex with him.

The teen said she met Sharmake Omar at the trailer later, and that Omar sexually assaulted her twice.

"The teenager said she was kept at the trailer for just under 24 hours with no food, and the two men took her shoes to prevent her from running away."

The prosecutor didn't attempt to bring the case to trial for 3 years, and the victim aged out of the foster system and left Minnesota, so the charges were dropped.
