You used to have your bet ideas in the shower, now you have a waterproof speaker. You used to get lost in thought waiting for the train, now you have a phone to fill the gap. You used to daydream on long flights, now there's a screen in your hand and on the seat in front of you. You used to think on your morning commute, now you have a podcast playing before you leave the house.
We used to stare in to the sky or into a fire and let our minds drift, now we have TVs and phone to replace that. We filled every silence and lost all of our peace, creativity and ideas that lived within that silence.
dear apple, the iPod needs to come back. not for nostalgia. for the parents who want their kids to love music and audiobooks without a browser, social media, and the whole internet attached to it
It's kinda messed up that scientists know more about dinosaurs than the female reproductive system.
Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women and still takes years to diagnose.
PCOS has no clear cause, no cure, and wildly inconsistent treatment.
Menstrual pain is taken seriously only after it disrupts productivity.
Menopause affects every woman and is barely taught in medical training.
Most drugs were tested on male bodies well into the 1990s.
So women live with delayed diagnoses, unmanaged pain, and being told it's
"normal."
This isn't a knowledge gap.
It's a priority gap and women are paying for it daily.
A lot of postpartum depression would look very different if women didnât have useless partners.
You canât dump a newborn, the house, and the entire mental load on one woman and then act shocked when sheâs drowning. Thatâs not hormones, thatâs a bad partner.
ADHD can seem fun and quirky until youâre too ashamed to reconnect with people because you havenât had the mental space to reply for 5 weeks, and now the guilt and fear of being judged is too much.
womenâs hormones drop 1000x in just 72 h after birth and Itâs a literal hormonal shock. Itâs the sharpest hormonal crash a body can survive. Estrogen crashes from peak pregnancy levels to near zero. Progesterone plummets over 1000%. The endocrine system rewrites itself to stop pregnancy and start lactation. All while her organs shift back, her uterus contracts, and she bleeds for weeks. All that while taking care of a newborn 24/7. God forbid she doesnât feel like herself or is moody.

I love people with ADHD because they never actually forget anything. You just have to say the right words to activate them like a sleeper cell and then they awaken with all of the knowledge on a very niche subject they studied for 3 months straight 6 years ago.
I LOVE THEM.
