My first few sets in Master did throw me in for a loop. first two sets I ended up getting smacked about. But the last set I played I ended up taking it.
It's defo gonna be a lot harder from here I'm well aware, but I know I can do it when mind is up to it. :D
So I did end up getting Master rank, just not in the way I thought I was gonna. Apparently in one of the new updates, you gain a massive amount of points for going on a 10 win streak.
It surprised me at first but at least it means that I know that I'm improving more. :D
Recently went back to SF6 with the idea of just taking my time with improving myself as appose to rushing progress and it's helped so much.
Just focusing on the match rather than focusing on the other players skill or their shiny jpeg has helped me improve a lot I feel. :D
I still have quite a ways to go with matchup improvements and overall patience, but remembering that it still all comes with time no matter how fast or slow of a learner I am has put me way more at ease. :D
Had a boss time at Drowning Pools today, played SF and went 2-2 but honestly the result was second to meeting some proper sound people.
Hope to go again next time! :D @MerseysideFGC
