I didn’t want to post this video today. I don’t want Charlie to be remembered for the horrific way his life ended and for the way the Left celebrated it. I want him to be remembered for how he lived: kind, bold, and unwilling to back down from telling the truth. But one year later, I believe this moment is important to see. This was the moment I learned that Charlie had been shot. And as I announced the tragic news, the students standing around me at the University of Montana cheered. I wish I could say their reaction was unimaginable. But those of us who publicly stand for Life and speak unpopular truths have seen how quickly political hatred can turn into dehumanization, threats, and even celebration when one of us suffers. A recent poll even showed a third of students now believe using violence to stop speakers is acceptable. Charlie died because of that hatred and violence. One year later, many more have risen to stand in Charlie’s place. We receive death threats. We travel with security. We walk onto campuses knowing there may be people waiting for us who don’t simply disagree with what we believe, but hate us for saying it. And yet, we go. Because fear cannot be allowed to silence the truth. Charlie understood that. He kept showing up. He kept having the conversations. He kept speaking boldly. So while I never want this horrific moment to define Charlie’s memory, I also refuse to look away from what it represents. We have to reject a culture that dehumanizes our opponents. We have to reject political violence and the celebration of it. To do this, we must abolish abortion… the civilization rot that has ruined everything by training millions to believe that innocent, small babies can die in brutal deaths and it should be “celebrated.” If an innocent baby can be seen as the enemy, then we’re all doomed. Human lives are worth defending. There is truth worth speaking. And there are generations watching to see whether we will retreat when standing up becomes difficult. We won’t. We will mourn Charlie. We will remember Charlie. And we will keep showing up. Because that’s exactly what Charlie would do.
