It is written
8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 βAll this I will give you,β he said, βif you will bow down and worship me.β
10 Jesus said to him, βAway from me, Satan! For it is written: βWorship the Lord your God, and serve him only.β[e]β
Please read this from Matthew 12 carefully.
5 Or havenβt you read in the Law that the priests on Sabbath duty in the temple desecrate the Sabbath and yet are innocent? 6 I tell you that something greater than the temple is here. 7 If you had known what these words mean, βI desire mercy, not sacrifice,β[a] you would not have condemned the innocent. 8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.β
Can you be without your word?
But yet you can speak it and it is with me, only it still belongs to you.
Well how much more so with God?
He isn't without His word (Jesus).
Yet he makes His word flesh.
John 1
New International Version
The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.
@KJV_Cat I wish we Christians could muster our own political movement, focusing on preserving our Christian heritage and pushing proper Christian political policy.
The Authority of the Son
16 So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. 17 In his defense Jesus said to them, βMy Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.β 18 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
19 Jesus gave them this answer: βVery truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. 21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. 22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
24 βVery truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. 25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
28 βDo not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come outβthose who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. 30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
@DeadSprungVT Lay your burdens at the feet of Jesus. Do it in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy spirit. Praying to Jesus is one of our biggest perks of being Christian, He has seen it all, done it all before. We can relate to Him and He relates to us. Praise God.
@mary_got_grace Lean on the Lord in all your ways, his yolk is easy and his burden light. Take a moment to enjoy the smile you put on our Fathers face.
Why does Jesus command us to honour Him as we honour our Father in heaven?

The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath.
Matthew 12
New International Version
Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath
12 At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. 2 When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, βLook! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath.β
3 He answered, βHavenβt you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry? 4 He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated breadβwhich was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests.
9 Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue, 10 and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him, βIs it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?β
11 He said to them, βIf any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? 12 How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.β
13 Then he said to the man, βStretch out your hand.β So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other. 14 But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.
Yes, and reverse racism is racism. The whole notion is divisive communist slop. 'We are but on race, the human race.' - Bob Marley.
Too add scripture to my point,
Galatians 3-26
26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abrahamβs seed, and heirs according to the promise.
@violatoru4 Amen, perhaps we can guide our "gay faggot" brothers and sisters with scripture. The bible is perfectly designed to rebuke false or luke warm teachings.
