🍽️ Behind every great performance is great fuel. Chef Hoppie is the secret weapon keeping WNBA stars like @AlannaSmith96 performing at their peak — one plate at a time.
"It takes a lot of the mental work off our plate," says Smith.
For Hoppie, cooking across cultures isn't just a job — it's connection. "Food doesn't always translate, but when it does, it's a beautiful thing." 🌍👨🍳

Dallas Wings’ Four-Time All-Star Arike Ogunbowale on Chef Hoppie helping prepare her for game days:
“Yeah, Chef Hoppie is one of the best chefs in Dallas,” said @Arike_O, after Sunday’s shootaround at the American Airlines Center.
“He gets us right for home games, practices, shootarounds, post-game, and they’re always delicious.”
@Lucky_Lefty0 on Hoppie:
“He always asks us what we're feeling for the week, and he's just a great chef. I use him in the off-season too, so he's really good.He does a great job of making sure that we eat healthy. Of course, I mean, he's amazing. I love him,” said Sims.
“Being able to make sure he watches what we eat, making sure it's healthy, but also giving us different options, that's definitely huge for us.”

Dallas Wings’ Chef Hoppie on what he wants @paigebueckers1 first meal at the new Wings facility next year to fell like:
“Paige is an absolute pro, but also a great person. She speaks and checks in every day, and the way she carries herself sets the standard,” said Hoppie.
“I want it to feel like home; this is the organization’s first place to call home, and that’s how it should feel when sitting at my table.”

Dallas Wings’ Chef Hoppie on potentially collaborating with @Alysha_Clark in the kitchen:
“Chef AC is welcomed in my kitchen whenever she likes; I might even plan a couple Chef AC takeover. I’m sure there are things I can learn from her and vice versa,” said Hoppie.
“My kitchen will be a place for me to cook high-profile meals for the team, but also a space for players to learn, showcase their skills, and equip them with tips and tricks they can carry with them wherever. “

Dallas Wings’ Chef Hoppie on @azzi_35 trying lamb chops for the first time:
“That is what it’s all about! That is a chef’s greatest accomplishment – to hear, “I don’t normally eat this but I do when you cook it.” or “I’ve never had this but now I will only eat yours.. “It’s big for how I’m trying to build this Fueling/Nutrition program, said Hoppie.”
“We will be the best fueled team but also doing so without compromising my or the team’s relationship with food. I want the best stuff you eat to be after practice or a gameday, not when you leave the building.”

Earlier this season Fudd shared with me that Hoppie asked her what she wanted to try:
"He's asked me what I want to try and I said everything,” said Fudd.
"I've never had lamb before," she said. "So I'm looking forward to trying that."
