So I moved to Tennessee and trump has his “Kamala is for they/them trump is for you” commercials and I thought it was just because Tennessee is insanely red but now that I’m in Philadelphia I’m seeing that this is what he chose as his national campaign. And it just makes me fucking sick that you could turn people who are simply trying to exist in a way that makes them comfortable as the basis of your hate filled campaign. If you are trans/nonbinary and are seeing these commercials every day this week please remember the whole world is not against you. you are so fucking valid and allowed not only to get by, but to thrive in your life. I’m so fucking upset about this right now it makes me tear up everytime I sit with it in my mind for more than the exact run time of the commercial.
