Convinced the best way to honor Billy Graham is to share again the message he shared with millions. Thankful for @KySportsRadio for the opportunity to do so... https://t.co/tjctDXqwcZ
"I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom"
"Behold the man upon a cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished"
Jesus died and was buried with your sins, and when He rose from the dead he left them there to rot in the grave. Meaning, the sins that are alive and well in your memories are actually dead and buried in His tomb.
It’s interesting that Christians are accused of hypocrisy because of our weakness and failures. The central belief we hold to is that we are weak failures who need a Savior. Therefore Christian hypocrisy is actually strength and self-righteousness.
