A VERY early start for our first ever @chelseaacademy @ChelseaDofE GOLD assessed expedition! 9 Year 13 students, plus 9 Year 12 students doing their practice expedition. Day 1 was travelling, route planning, cooking and orienteering near Coniston in the Lake District. #flourish

Our students have smashed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver🥈expedition. Their determination saw them ahead of schedule at points, the biggest struggle being hay fever 🪻 . Back at camp frisbee and jokes helped all decompress! Well done all! #flourish #DofE

It was a night of wild camping for the groups last night! Some spectacular views nestled in a valley with a reservoir next to us as well.
