Chernobyl VR Project is the very first virtual tour around Chernobyl, compatible with most VR headsets, like PlayStation VR, Oculus, Vive, and Samsung GearVR.
An amazingly tempting and simultaneously frightening place, Pripyat amusement park, which has become popular thank to many games and movies - is truly worthy of its reputation.
Have you heard about Chernobyl dock cranes? Three giant metal constructions guard the river bank. A fourth tilts precariously in the river itself, almost as if about to wade ashore.
Please be careful and don't even try to climb on it!
Town of Chernobyl. At first glance these signs are similar to those we meet at the entrance to every city. But these are different. Every one represents a village which residents were evacuated after the disaster. Most of the places don't exist anymore.
Another place in the exclusion zone, which makes us realize how abandoned places fall into ruin (not without human help). Yaniv railway station is full of railway wagons, which constitute a tasty morsel for local scrap yards.
In Pripyat you could observe a very strong influence of communist propaganda. In each school and public buildings there were portraits and symbols commemorating the leaders and the most deserving party members.
Have you noticed anything similar in the picture below?
Have you heard about CHERNOBYLing festival?
We are pleased to invite you to an unusual event at the turn of August and September.
See you there!

Today, let's set off together for a short flight around the Duga radar, commonly known as the Moscow Eye.
The size of the construction designed by the USSR is breathtaking even today

Jump into the "Azure" swimming pool and imagine how it looked like in the past.
Unfortunately, the passing time is ruthless and this place has decayed very quickly catching up with other objects in the town.
Industrial plant "Jupiter" after evacuation was taken by the company "Specatom" and worked as a radiological laboratory. Many theories suggest that the "Jupiter" was involved in the recovery of plutonium for the military. How much truth is in it? We do not know
"Digitalization has changed tourism"
We totally agree with that. And we are proud of it!
Straight from Berlin, @euronews reportage with @ChernobylVR (7:44)!

Anyone want to go for a ride? Almost 32 years ago, at this time of the year, the construction of the Pripyat Amusement Park was coming to an end.
Unfortunately, nobody was able to try out those brand new carousels because of the disaster.
The Duga radar is in a very bad condition. No wonder it discourages many daredevils who try to climb on it illegally.
Did you know that there were active elevators after the disaster? The trip to the top, with great view of the current exclusion zone could've taken only a moment.
"Only with VR, we can examine such places from near, where we would never come in real life".
