eBays solution is that I will only get paid for eBay standard envelopes when
1. Tracking shows delivered (Maybe works half the time)
2. If they buyer leaves feedback (maybe 1/3 of the time)
3. I have to ask the buyer if they received the item (assuming they are being honest)
Hey @eBay ! How are you going to all of a sudden hold all funds for 48 hours until AFTER delivery has been confirmed by tracking? Perfect feedback and Power seller for over a decade. How does this work with limited tracking standard envelopes? THANKS!
Gonna run a good old fashioned…
🚨 STACK SALE 🚨
I’ve been stacking up some fun cool cards from the 90s/00s/10s/20s over the last 6 months or so
🙏 RT FOR A CHANCE TO WIN THE BARRY IN THE SECOND PIC 🙏
My “no one asked” thought about Topps not growing revenue:
As many new people as Rubin and co got to join the hobby, just as many people took a step back.
I used to have a case-ripping group. We’d rip a case or two on release of Bowman, Flagship, Chrome and then send off for grading, keeping our favorites (buddy of mine from the group actually sent me a picture of his Soto Clear /10 from 2018 flagship this morning reminding me about all this).
We all took a huge step back from buying sealed as prices increased, print runs increased, quality decreased, and values tanked.
I’ve got friends who have moved on to vintage. Friends who have moved on to TCG and non-sports. Moved on to anything else other than ripping Topps for loss of interest and also just a lot of “fuck Rubin I’m not giving him my money.”
People constantly say that the none of it matters and that Topps just “prints money.”
I don’t believe that.
I think Topps needs the collector just as much as the opportunist because collectors are the ones who have been around and will be around. Fanatics should’ve tried to grow around the collector but instead they focused on the opportunists and drove the collectors away.
Hopefully Rubin takes a step back and so does his team. Hopefully Topps sells again and into the hands of someone who sees collecting as fun and exciting with a powerful history… instead of just seeing cards as their company’s ATM.
I also cannot file a report on the buyer after 90 days. This buyer really working the system for a $2 card. This buyer is actively buying a lot looking at feedback. Please be careful, and I suggest blocking.
I just had an eBay buyer file a payment dispute for a $2 card that was purchased on 4/1 and shipped 4/2. They waited exactly 3 months and now I cannot file an insurance claim for the ebay standard envelope. Scammers always scamming. eBay not protecting me on this either...

I have sent pictures to everyone inquiring on specific player lots. The sale has officially ended! I will send all updated invoices by tomorrow. Thanks again everyone! It was fun but took a lot of time and work so I may have officially retired from stack sales haha.
