@stoolpresidente The Mayor is simply communicating to his constituents the guidelines suggested by the U.S. Department of Energy. Your commie beef is with Trump administration.
@stephen_richer There are more people in NYC, about 450 square miles, than in all of Arizona. Seems like the Mayor understands his power grid pretty well. Also, everyone is suggesting those perfectly reasonable steps, including Arizona.
The post above is an example of Holocaust denial.

Denial of the existence of gas chambers is a disgraceful assault on the memory of all those people murdered in them: mainly Jews, but also Poles, Roma, Soviet prisoners of war, and all others. It is also a slap in the face to those prisoners who risked their lives to document and convey the truth about German crimes, as well as to the Survivors who still bear the trauma of their personal experiences.
Holocaust denial has nothing to do with the truth. It is a mendacious conspiracy theory. A dangerous & hideous carrier of antisemitism & hatred that hurts people. Deniers harass & insult the memory of the victims.
@akanoego I'm truly not interested in any further evidence, because I'm not trying to prove anything. This has done me no harm. And my old work was carved into tablets. But seriously, I hope the software works well for those who choose to use it.
I’ve tested some of these detectors because I was curious, but honestly, at my big age, I’m going to stop worrying about it. I’ll write what I write, and if someone says AI wrote it, they can tell me why they think that or take their opinions elsewhere. 5/5
In the end, I have a couple of serious misgivings. First, almost all AI platforms now have a duty to add a disclaimer, “AI makes mistakes.” Except AI detection, which is miraculously 99.9% accurate. Second, tell us WHY. We simply can’t accept “This is AI because Trust Me Bro.” 4/
@ben_golub@shashj I saw this discussion on here, so I went to Pangram to check it out. I entered an essay I'd written, and it came back 100 percent AI. One. Hundred. Percent. I've been writing professionally since 1985. If this malarkey becomes commonplace, I honestly don't know what I'll do.
